Data

For this workshop, we will use the National Land Cover Database (NLCD) from the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics (MRLC) Consortium, but you can use your own forest data. We can download the following land cover data sets and Georgia counties shapefile:

• NLCD 2001 Land Cover (CONUS) (1.8 GB)

• NLCD 2019 Land Cover (CONUS) (2.3 GB)

• Counties Georgia (4.9 MB)
